Christina Aguilera reveals name of her baby girl!
Summer Rain is no longer just an 80's song title. The Voice judge Christina Aguilera and fiancée Matthew Rutler announced via Twitter the arrival of their first daughter, Summer Rain Rutler last Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. The singer of 'Beautiful' clearly knows what a beautiful name is all about.
Prior to giving birth, Christina posted on Twitter and Instagram a photo of her in a studio, lovingly holding her baby bump with the caption 'Baby girl getting first listen', tweet by Christina.
The Grammy Award singer is already a mother of 6-year-old Max from a previous marriage of five years.
Beginning her career from The Mickey Mouse Club and booming through the 90's with memorable hit songs like 'Genie In A Bottle' and 'What A Girl Wants' to name a few, Christina has been a household name in pop.
She has elevated her career from singer to songwriter and actress, in her debut film 'Burlesque' with Cher in 2010. To date, she is a current judge of The Voice franchise, although she took time off for her pregnancy but promises to come back soon.
During this pregnancy, Aguilera decided to pose nude, baring her very pregnant body for a magazine August issue.
Sharing her thoughts on the photo, she explains 'As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store.'
Known for her positive body image, Christina is even reportedly willing to pose on her birthday suit post-baby bump for Playboy.
Although now she is spending time with baby girl Summer Rain and her family, Christina will soon be back to work as she returns to The Voice, and continue production of her upcoming album. No release date declared, but based on her track records, it's one to surprise us for sure.
