"I Love You Man" lead Paul Rudd takes a different tone to his usual funny- awkward role as Marvel's "Ant-Man" for release in 2015.

Marvel Studios is the producer of "Ant-Man" based on the Marvel Comics by Stan Lee, and to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Superhero fans worldwide are excited to experience another Marvel-based movie, following the Avengers and X-Men franchise.

Though the plot of the movie "Ant-Man" has not been released (or leaked), it follows the basic premise based on the comic books. Scott Lang (Rudd) is a con-man struggling to make ends meet. Situation leads him to meet the Dr. Hank Pym who becomes his mentor and whom he helps defend the Ant-Man technology from bad guys. Basically, the technology is the ability to reduce to a smaller size but increase in strength.

"Ant-Man" movie cast news found online reports of having actors in the likes of Judy Greer, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Peña to complete the roster of other characters in "Ant-Man". Apart from Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas joins the cast as Dr. Pym, his mentor.

Most of these actors have had experiences in making action films; this seems to be the first for the lead actor, Paul Rudd.

Known for his impeccable comedic timing, Paul Rudd has since been appearing in positively received romantic comedy films that made him a household name. In the revelation that he is to take on the role of a superhero, his fans are more excited than ever. As he is known for his "awkwardness" in most of the characters he played, seeing him as an action hero is a big change-unfamiliar but all the more exhilarating.

Paul Rudd was first seen in Alicia Silverstone's "Clueless" (1995) and is also known for his work as Mike Hannigan, a recurring character in the 90's TV series "Friends".
