‘Silent Hills’ PS4 Release Date, Action-Horror Franchise Intensifies Frightening Gameplay, ‬Creators Guarantee Players Will 'S*** Their Pants’, Features Norman Reedus

After 10 "Silent Hill" installments causing game players to refuse playing at nighttime, another "Silent Hill" is about to be released worldwide.

Creators Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro kept all hushed up until the unraveling during the Gamescom 2014 in August. A playable demo was released under the title "P.T." for PlayStation4.

Fans were not fooled however as they were able to see that this might be the highly anticipated 11th installment of the "Silent Hill" franchise. And it was.

As "Silent Hills" PS4 release date remains to be announced, fans are anxious to see what's in store. While featuring Norman Reedus (known for his work in the HBO series "The Walking Dead") in the game is already an absolute treat, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Like the other installments, "Silent Hills" begins as the main character is awakened-a highly "Silent Hill" trait. As with the other "Silent Hill" games, the player will continue to walk around a seemingly harmless location (i.e., neighborhood, school, hallway) until everything seems to be on a loop. Slowly, horrifying things begin to occur.

Doors ajar, radio suddenly buzzing, a sound of a crying baby out of nowhere-these are just snippets of the demo that was released. Imagine the skin-crawling horrors that game players are willing to face for this game. And imagine the horror they are currently undergoing, anticipating the official "Silent Hills" PS4 release date.

Kojima shares: "originally we were thinking of making a game that would make you pee your pants, but at this point we've changed our minds, and now we're aiming for a game that will make you s*** your pants".

The reception of almost the entire "Silent Hill" franchise is more than positive. Impeccable story, graphics and atmosphere combined with the lifelike nightmares make for a critically acclaimed video game.

Every installment from the first to the tenth proved to be a level up from the previous. Hopefully, "Silent Hills" PS4 release date will just be around the corner; around 2015 should be acceptable.
