Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Spoilers: Show Welcomes New Super Villain To Be Played By A Teen Wolf Alum. Find Out Who He Is

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 is set to premier on September 23. That's pretty much one month from now. Despite that, the show is not yet done bringing in more villains that will terrorize Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) crew and planet earth.

On August 21, Marvel announced in its website that Absorbing Man will come to the show and he will be played by Teen Wolf alum Brian Patrick Wade.

From its website, it said:

Carl "Crusher" Creel, known to Marvel fans as the Absorbing Man in the comics, will bring his unique power set to "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." with the season premiere Tuesday, September 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC!

With his ability to absorb the properties of anything he touches, Creel will put Coulson and his team through their paces when their second season kicks off...but you'll have to wait until then to see how their battle turns out!

Wade is just one of many actors set to grace the show. Previously, Marvel has welcomed Lucy 'Xena' Lawless who will play SHIELD veteran Isabelle Hartly.

"She's tough. She may have a knife that's always by her side," executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen said of Lawless.

Adrianne Palicki, known for playing the titular role in TV series Wonder Woman and Lady Jaye in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, also comes aboard as Marvel super spy Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird. News of Palicki's arrival at the show was first bared by Patton Oswalt who also hinted that there will be a lot of Hydra bad guys coming, led by Reed Diamond (Homicide: Life on the Street).

"We are starting from scratch and it isn't going to be easy. But we have some good people, and some secret weapons," he said. "We're going to keep fighting the good fight."
