Google Nexus 8 Release Date Excites Consumers Worldwide; Specs To Surpass Predecessor, Price Set To Be Around $300

Google is yet to announce the official Nexus 8 release date! 

Ranking first in "The 28 Best Tablets of 2014: What's the Best Tablet in the UK Right Now" (www.pcadvisor.co.uk), will Google rule the next poll with it's upcoming Google Nexus 8 based on its specs?

Originally slated to be released in partnership with Asus, Digitimes updates report that Google now will work with HTC to release Google Nexus 8.

Reports on the next Google tablet reveals that the company is planning to make the Google Nexus 8 a larger tablet, to fit in with the ongoing trend of increased screen size. It is rumored to be an 8.9-inch display at 2048x1440 (281 ppi).

Its change in size is significant to facing off with industry forerunners Apple (iPad Mini) and LG (G Pad 8.3). No longer will it be confused as a slightly larger smart phone, but a legitimate tablets on its' own.

Tablet camera shows that Google Nexus 8 may come with an 8P OIS main camera, and a 3MP front facing camera. Furthermore, according to a Wall Street Journal article, the device will "be equipped with two back cameras, infrared depth sensors and advanced software that can capture precise three-dimensional images of objects."

Other physical attributes of the Google Nexus 8 include a possible aluminum zero-gap body, with speakers facing the front. It is also slated to be lighter, no more than 14.8 ounces (418 grams).

Possible specs in the upcoming Google Nexus 8 include a Tegra K1 processor (NVIDIA Logan 64-bit) to answer iPhone 5s challenges, 2GB RAM, and variants of 16- or 32-GB internal storage-largely higher that the specs of its' predecessor.

Reportedly, the current version of Android will come with Google Nexus 8. Soon to be released Android Lollipop (or Android L), though no official report on the characteristics of Android L have been released to date.

Conceivably priced around $400 to $500 depending on variants of 16GB and 32GB, respectively. Google Nexus 8 release date unconfirmed. Speculations of release in August 19 were disproved.
