Eminem-Jay Z Debate Is Over; 50-Cent Says Marshall Mathers Is Better Than Beyonce's Beau And Any Other Black Rapper, And He Has A Point

50 Cent has said many controversial words before. There's this backlash against him because of him switching presidential candidates from time to time, his anti-gay comments in the past, and feuds with other hip-hop artists including Ja Rule, Lil Wayne, and Puff Daddy. In his latest commentary, it looks like Curtis James Jackson will be in the middle of another backlash, especially to his fellow rappers. 50 Cent weighed on the Eminem-Jay Z debate. In an interview with Music Choice, 50 Cent favoured his friend Marshall Mathers over Jay Z who is known in real life as Shawn Carter.

"Hip Hop is Black music, without question, and, unfortunately for some people, it's tough to accept that you have a white artist that does it better than Black artists," he said.

The G-United de facto leader even when on to say that Eminem would trash any other rappers that will battle him one on one.

"It is what it is. You can get like whoever you think is the best Black artist and stand them face-to-face in a room with Em and he will eat that [guy] alive. Right now if you had 'em prepare themselves, whatever way they would have to prepare themselves to come battle...I bet what I have, everything that Eminem would win."

This is not the first time that 50 Cent hit on Beyonce's husband. In June this year, he was asked at Watch What Happens Live who he thinks is the most overrated rapper of all time. Without hesitation, he answered "Jay Z. He would say he's overrated. 'Rather be overrated than underpaid.'"

On the same interview, 50 Cent explained even more his stance on the Eminem-Jay Z debate. He said that the Holy Grail singer and Eminem got into a concert together because of Jay-Z's business.

"That's Live Nation 'cause [Jay Z] sold his touring career to Live Nation. They've got to keep him hot enough to go get their money back. So they match 'em up with Em, put them together 'cause he got more momentum connected to his relationship with Beyonce and his record with Alicia. It makes sense. It makes sense, the Detroit/New York show. But it only makes sense to me because of business, it makes sense, because Em sold like 60 million records more than him. How you put 'em there like they're equals?

The 39-year old rapper cleared though that he does not hate Jay Z and he was just stating a fact.

"It's tough for me to say some of this [stuff] and not sound like a hater. But I don't care."
