The mind-bending cast of the "American Horror Story" franchise is almost back. "American Horror Story: Freak Show" teaser #4 is released, featuring the beautifully bizarre world of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Gaining popularity as one of the few successful mini-series today, the franchise has successfully taken hold of audiences worldwide. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, both known for "Glee" and "Nip/Tuck", this series is set apart from many as it houses the same cast for all the seasons, portraying varying roles, in different storylines.
The main cast returning for most seasons include Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Dennis O'Hare, Dylan McDermott, Zachary Quinto, Alexandra Breckenridge.
Addition to the cast during the "American Horror Story: Coven" include big names in the likes of Angela Basset, Emma Roberts, Patti LuPone, and Kathy Bates.
According to reports, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" will definitely have Jessica Lange back but with less exposure compared to the previous three. We will also see Kathy Bates on the fourth installment, with possibility of playing a major role. Ryan Murphy confirms the reappearance of other cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Denis O'Hare, Jamie Brewer, and Gabourey Sidibe, reports Deadline.com. Michael Chiklis, known for his portrayal of "The Thing" in the "Fantastic 4" franchise, will also be joining "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" teasers have been released beginning mid-August, with the first one titled "Admit One", followed by "Lick", "Spotlight". The fourth and most recent titled "Caged". All teasers released as 11-second videos. Making fans wonder if there's a significance to the coming season.
Poster art for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" has also been released. Providing clues as to the characters the cast will portray. Two headed Sarah Paulson and a three-breasted Angela Basset are just but a few of these shocking yet exciting revelations.
Previous seasons were "Murder House" released in 2011 , "Asylum" in 2012, and "Coven" in 2013. "American Horror Story: Freak Show" premiers on October 8, 2014 on FX.
