IFA 2014 Berlin: The Battle of High-End Phones. Will Apple Dominate The Android Platforms?

The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) is one of the world's biggest trade show that showcases almost everything, including communications, audio, car media, home entertainment, cameras, printers, headphones, speaker and especially a different range of high-end cellphones from leading manufacturers all over the world. This event will start next week on September 5th.

Apple already set the launch date of it's iPhone 6 on September 9. It was rumored that they will launch two phones following it's predecessors iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. The larger 5.5-inch iPhone is likely to come with a sapphire display, while only certain versions of the 4.7-inch phone will feature a screen made of sapphire.

Here are some top android platform phones that were expected to be launched at the IFA. Check it out if it can beat the much awaited iPhone 6.

HTC Desire 820, claims to be the first 64-bit Android phone.Unlike the HTC One M8 it still classified as a mid-range phone though it's running in Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. Let's see what difference it has from the HTC One M8 as one of the best Android Phones.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4,  will have two versions - one with a curved OLED display and the other a cheaper version a flat OLED display . Looks like  an iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s.

The  Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact will share the same processor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core 2.5GHz chip and a 2Gb RAM just like the Sony Xperia Z2.It also brags a 20-megapixel camera which makes it a great gadget for mobile photography.

There had been no rumors about Asus Zenfone 2; since it's coming from a computer company, we're expecting a phone loaded with computer features or a phablet.

We don't know what to expect on the IFA  next week, but one thing's for sure we'll be in awe at the new innovation of gadgets. Watch out what gadgets will stand out in the 18 different categories in the expo!
