Millions of 'Minecraft' Xbox One and PS4 fans are excited to get their hands on their consoles to play the game's latest version. Though it was a bit disappointing to many, when 4J Studio announced that there would be a delay on the release date.
Posted on their official twitter account, the game failed the certification on Sony. So, it went back to the game developer, but they assured that they will fix the bug as soon as possible and will go through the process again.
The latest progress on the game ,as posted by the game developer, is a positive indication that it will be released early September; and things are getting better as the bugs were fixed as they handed it over again to Sony's testing team.
"#Minecraft is back with Sony for final testing. Fingers crossed..." 4J Studio on Twitter on August 26th.
The live issues that had been detected by Microsoft on Xbox One are still on process of resolving by the game's developer.
4J Studio said, "Down to the last few bugs with #MinecraftXbix1 - hoping to hand it over to Microsoft by the end of the week."
Sony and Microsoft's certification normally takes a week or two.Thus, were expecting an early September release as speculated.
"We have a bit more work to do on #MinecraftPSVita before we hand it over to Sony. We'll let you know when we had it over." said 4J Studio. Moreover, Minecraft for PS Vita has no definite date of release yet.
They have been also working on an update to save previous game files and transfer from PS3 to PSVita and PS4, and Xbox 360 to Xbox One.
The new version will market at $16.99 and $4.99 for those who already have Minecraft on their PS3 and Xbox 360 and wish to upgrade.
What makes it a much awaited game are it's improved blocks, resource packs , modifications, skins, items and a whole new feel of the game itself.
