Whether you love him or not, you can't take away the fact that Jack Porter plays a big role in what direction would Emily Thorne would take. In this new Revenge Season 4 Spoiler, it looks like the 'revengy' Emily (played by Emily Van Camp) will be put into a dangerous place because of Nick Wechsler's character.
According to Entertainment Weekly's Ciara, Jack Porter will be haunted by the things he did in season three of the ABC drama. These includes his role in kidnapping of Charlotte Clarke (played by Christa B. Allen) and the time he worked with a cop in order to exact revenge against Conrad Grayson.
Ciara wrote in response to a Revenge fan asking for Revenge updates:
"You may be asking yourself why Jack suddenly becomes friends with a cop (Client List's Brian Hallisay) after finding himself on the wrong side of the law last season. That's easy: Jack is actually putting on a badge. However, despite his new position, Charlotte has been unable to forgive him for his part in her kidnapping, which will put them at odds at the annual Memorial Day party. (Oh yes, the party is still happening, it's just being hosted by someone else while Victoria is in the loony bin.)"
In previous Revenge Season 4 spoiler, Jack has been the major topic, a sign that he's going to play a bigger role in Emily's quest for revenge. Series writer Ted Sullivan said that there will be major changes in the personality of Emily's childhood friend and that it will be seen in season four's early episodes.
"You'll have an idea how Jack is different in the very first scene he's in. I can tell you he will be spending less time behind the bar than before," Sullivan told EmilyThorne.org. "He's seen a lot. He's learned a lot. He wants to take control of his life and he has in a cool and sexy way."
He also said that Emily and Jack's relationship is going to "be different than it has been before" but didn't provide any specific details what that difference would be.
In previous Revenge Season 4 spoiler, it has been revealed that Victoria Grayson (played by Madeleine Stowe) will get a new love interest named Edward Alvarez to be played by Nestor Serrano of Graceland. Alvarez was described as a "commanding and perceptive police chief" who's (surprisingly) in Victoria's corner."
