LAS VEGAS-Capriotti's Sandwich Shop will work on the No Kid Hungry campaign and help lessen child hunger in American region. Starting on September 1 until September 30, the entire Southern California region will give $1 for each medium meal bought, that has a sandwich, a drink and chips, to the No Kid Hungry platform.

With more than 20 percent of children in California that are deprived from adequate nutrition intake, the September Dine Out program will not only help these kids, but also give awareness to the public with the aim of getting rid of the said issue. No Kid Hungry's move has helped Los Angeles schools that feed breakfast to over 9.5 million kids in last 2012-2013. Currently, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is dedicated to run this initiative and support the local area as soon as the school year starts in Southern California. In every $1 dollar given by Capriotti's gives a kid the chance to eat up to 10 meals, giving the much-needed nutrition that will last the entire day.

"The Southern California Capriotti's collaboration with No Kid Hungry is a way to give back to people who are much in need, particularly the kids. As a successful brand in food and beverage industry, this issue has touched our hearts and we are helping as possible as we can to get rid of hunger in this community. And as the year goes on, we will go on with our campaign to help the needy in this local community," said the chief executive officer of the brand, Ashley Morris.

The participants of Southern California Capriotti's region are Covina, Beverly Hills, Encino, Culver City, Walnut, Torrance Tustin, Whittier, Fountain Valley, Irvin Market, Mission Valley, Newport Beach SDSU and San Marcos.
