Baskin-Robbins Seeking to Expand in Metro Detroit

Baskin-Robbins is seeking to expand its presence in the Metro Detroit area. The company is now looking for businessmen who are willing to invest in order to get  a franchise in the city. Baskin-Robbins has about 50 stores in the Michigan area, but they want to add more to that and so they are looking for interested  people.

The company is about to hold seminars for interested businessmen who might want to become franchisees of existing stores. There are several stores in the area that are in need of franchisees now. There are advantages with taking over an existing store. The most obvious one is that there is no longer any need to go through with establishing it. A franchisee can go right ahead with running the business.

According to the company a franchise can go between $103,000 and $389,000. The initial franchise fee can be as low as $25,000. There are also additional charge for purchasing an existing location of a store. They need to pay 10% of the total purchase price. Potential investors should also meet a minimum requirement for their credit score. They should have a score of about 600 in order to qualify.

The people behind Baskin-Robbins are looking for certain types of businessmen to help in their expansion in the Metro Detroit area. They want those with experience in running similar establishments in the past. More importantly they also want investors who can meet their financial requirements.

Franchisee who are interested in getting the existing stores are also required to pay a franchise training fee. The fee amounts to $2,140. The franchise is also required to pay a certain amount of the total sales to the company. On top of the qualities that have been mentioned Baskin-Robbins is also looking for people who have an understanding of brand building and for local marketing.
