The year-long debacle on plagiarizing the lyrics of a Martin Gaye song titled "Got To Give It Up" into the Pharell Williams and Robin Thicke 'Blurred Lines' song has updates finally.

While the family of late Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Marvin Gaye complained about the "feel" and "sound" of "Got to Give It Up" being ripped off by Thicke and Pharell, the two singer/songwriters completely denied allegations.

In an interview with ABC News, Pharell comments, "Just simply go to the piano and play the two. One's minor and one's major. And not even in the same key."

Recently, revelations on Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" news surfaced, saying that the singer admits to somehow copying the song, as does Pharell.

In the court transcripts obtained by The Hollywood Reported, Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" news disclose what actually occurred during the writing process of the song.

Thicke under oath confesses, "After making six albums that I wrote and produced myself, the biggest hit of my career was written and produced by someone else and I was jealous and I wanted some of the credit."

He also continues on to share what occurred during the time they were recording the song.

Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" confession says, "I was high on Vicodin and alcohol when I showed up at the studio. So my recollection is when we made the song, I thought I wanted to be more involved than I actually was by the time, nine months later, it became a huge hit and I wanted credit. So I started kind of convincing myself that I was a little more part of it than I was and I - because I didn't want him - I wanted some credit for this big hit. But the reality is, is that Pharrell had the beat and he wrote almost every single part of the song."

Robin Thicke also confirms that his admission to "Blurred Lines" plagiarism has caused his recent split with wife Paula Patton.
