Iggy Azalea Black Widow Singer Sues Rapper Williams For Copyright Infringement, Ex-Hubbie Stole Music From Her Laptop?

Rising hiphop recording artist Iggy Azalea is suing her ex-boyfriend for making deals to release stolen music from Azalea.

The suit was filed against Primco Management Inc., ESMG Inc., Top Sail Productions LLC and Maurice Williams for copyright and trademark infringement.

Accoring to the lawsuit which was filed in the federal court of Los Angeles, the unreleased music which was stolen from Azalea's laptop years ago violated the copyright and trademark laws. Her music was planned to be released on September 30 by Williams, who had no consent and authority to advertise or distribute her music. Last July 2014, Williams even announced that a pending album of Azalea that they had a joint venture with and stated that he believes the "merger will be monumental because the projects that we have coming down the pipeline are going to shock the world."

In the details of the complaint, it stated that Williams allegedly kept Azalea's copy of her songs and there was a forged contract between Azalea and Williams.

Last July 24, Primco Management Inc. claimed that the company had secured the rights to Iggy Azalea's album called "Inizio".

When Azalea (born as Amethyst Amelia Kelly) was only 17 years old, she met Maurice Williams (also known as rapper Jefe Wine). Williams took Azalea in and lived together for while. That was when Williams allegedly downloaded all the contents of Azalea's computer.

Iggy Azalea, 24, is an Australian recording hiphop artist known for her rapping skills. Originally from Mullumbimby, New South Wales, she decided to leave for United States to pursue a career in singing.  She moved from place to place until she was discovered when she moved to Los Angeles. Her uploaded videos to You Tube gained much recognition and hits from the public. Her famous song, "Fancy" was in the Billboard Top 100 Charts this year.

Primco Management Inc. declined to give any comments on the case.
