‘Final Fantasy XIII’ Trilogy: XIII, XIII-2 And Lightning Will Be Available For PC Gamers, Release Date Begins This October; Game Priced Under $20?

After five years, the "Final Fantasy XIII" Trilogy that includes "Final Fantasy XIII", "Final Fantasy XIII-2" and "Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" will be available for Microsoft PC gamers worldwide.

Most installments are stand-alone but plotlines revolve generally about the same theme. In general, the story involves a hero fighting evil to rescue a victim and in some cases, a storyline involving the search for justice.

To date, there is a total of 15 "Final Fantasy" games released and otherwise (pending, announced).

The thirteenth installment to the legendary Final Fantasy is known as "Final Fantasy XIII". The heroine of the story is known as Lightning, a former soldier. She is on a quest to rescue her sister from the treacherous grip of an evil government society.

"Final Fantasy XIII" was released in 2010 worldwide, and has been gaining positive reviews since. According to GameRankings, "Final Fantasy XIII" has received an average of 84.15% positive reviews since its release. As this franchise is led by a female protagonist, an increase in female gamers were experienced as having over one-third of the entire "Final Fantasy XIII" gamers.

The positive reception of "Final Fantasy XIII" trilogy has directed creators to a sequel known as "Final Fantasy XIII"-2. Released worldwide in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, new characters Serah and Noel lead the first sequel.

"Lightning Returns: "Final Fantasy XIII"", a second sequel to ""Final Fantasy XIII"" trilogy released in 2012.

To date, news of the "Final Fantasy XIII" trilogy is coming to PC. Creators and fans alike are continuing to develop the game as it continues to spread throughout different gaming consoles, with the PC as the most recent.

"Final Fantasy XIII" trilogy will begin release by October, followed by the sequels this coming spring. Time.com reports that the game will be released under $20 - which is a lot less compared to its original release of $60 for Xbox or PlayStation 3.
