Derrick Rose's return news indicated that the Chicago Bulls superstar is not worried about the questions surrounding his health after recovering from a second knee surgery.

In an interview during the Bulls media day on Monday, Rose said that he expects the media to talk about his health, but he reiterated that he is ready to answer those questions for the rest of his career.

"I'm not worried about that. I don't care, when people ask me the question (regarding his health), I know that it's always going to be there," the superstar said in a Derrick Rose return update on CSN Chicago. "I'm always going to have to answer that question the rest of my career, so I'm not worried about that."

Rose averaged 15.9 points to go along with 4.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game last season before going down with a torn meniscus in his right knee just in his 10th game coming off a surgery that repaired a torn ACL in his left knee.

The 25-year-old, who is coming off a successful stint with Team USA in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, assured Bulls fans that he will stay healthy and he will prove his critics wrong when he steps on the floor.

"For Bulls fans I can sit here and say a million times that I'll be fine, but the only way to answer all the critics and everyone asking about me is to actually be on the court and actually play," Rose added.

The former Most Valuable Player also added in another Derrick Rose return update that the Bulls will be a force to reckon with in the upcoming season. Rose admitted that he is unsure if they can win it all this year, but he is convinced that he will get his first championship ring soon.

"I try my hardest to stay away from (predictions), but we know we have an opportunity ahead of us," Rose said via ESPN Chicago. "It may not be this year, it may not be the next year or whatever, but I know that we have one (in us). I know I'm going to win a championship soon so I'm not worried about that."

The Bulls solidified their roster this off season with the acquisition of veteran power forward Pau Gasol and high-scoring rookie Doug McDermott in the 2014 NBA Draft.
