According to singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, she "didn't freeze" when she, together with Leah Remini and their kids were involved in a car accident.

Last Saturday, the friends Lopez and Remini were on their way to a Demi Lovato concert when they were suddenly rear-ended by a driver.

Six-year-old twins Max and Emme together with Remini's ten-year-old daughter were also in the vehicle when the accident happened. Thankfully, no one inside the vehicle was injured. The accident happened in Malibu, California.

According to 45-year-old Lopez, "I was super scared that something happened to the kids," Jennifer told Extra. "They say in situations like that you fight, flight, freeze. I didn't freeze, I fought, and I didn't leave, I fought. I was like, 'They were kids in the car! There were three kids in the car, what's wrong with you?'"

J.Lo told Extra that, "Everybody's fine, thank you for asking...just a little shook up. You know you get hit from behind like that, it felt l like a boulder fell on top of the car,"

Leah Remini was driving the car at the time of the incident as can be seen in the picture J.Lo uploaded in Instagram before the accident happened. Remini, 44, is an American actress best known for her role as Carrie Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens. She has a daughter named Sofia born last 2004.

Remini added in the interview that Lopez had unleashed her Bronx side when the accident happened. Per Remini, "She did her Bronx thing and I was the calm one which should have... that should have been the headline."

The driver was arrested on suspicion of a DUI.

Jennifer Lopez is an American actress, dancer, producer and singer-songwriter. Lopez has two kids with former husband Marc Anthony - Twins Emme and Maximilian who were born last February 2008. The couple separated after seven years of marriage last 2011.
