U.S. consumer confidence dipped for the second consecutive month in August on concerns that an interest rate hike is upcoming, Bloomberg reported.
Consumer confidence has declined in July, following an improvement last month, due to less optimistic short-term outlook, especially in the Labor market, according to a press release by The Conference Board.
With the string of positive reports on the economy, American consumer sentiment in June rose to its highest level in five-month, indicating that people will be spending more this year.
