God of War 4; no official announcements yet but lots of hints to prove its release are seen online!
After God Of War: Ascension was released for the PlayStation 3, franchise fans started talking about the availability of 'God of War 4' on PlayStation 4. While some sources expect that the game will be showcased at E3 2015 and be available for PlayStation 4 exclusively.
Before the E3 2014 was conducted, rumors spread around that announcements for God Of War 4 will be made but unfortunately did not happen. Sony made no announcements at all on the said event.
"God of War 4 teasers are under development while the use of snippets and heavy cinematic expressions are expected," an anonymous said before E3, which proved to be untrue.
An animator from the mo-cap studio House of Moves, David Thornfield, has listed 'God Of War 4" on his Linkedin profile. Now that the whole account is been taken down, it only marks him the look of a guilty person by letting the info leaked.
For the time being, fans of the series are guessing whether the fourth installment of the game would be the end of the popular series, because it is being rumored that this game will lead to the death of Kratos and his family.
According to a gaming website's report, which is Cyberland, Kratos, in the next game will fall at the hands of Thor and it might be the end of the series. However, another report claimed that Sony may perhaps produce a fifth addition, but is probably to be a spin-off for the entire series, instead of having a sequel.
When you go to creativeheads.net, you'll find an ad for a conceptual development job listing a 'God of War' project. The position asks for people who has experience in Illustrator, Photoshop and Painter 3D, and lists the genre as combat/military, which proves the coming of the prequel.
In the meantime, God Of War: Ascension is seemingly coming out to PlayStation 4.
Still, there are no official announcements yet from Sony about the release date of 'God Of War 4' has been revealed but the game is speculated to arrive within the next three years. A renewed 1080p version of the God Of War's latest game is said to be offered for digital download on the PlayStation Store.
