Destiny PC version rumored to be release on March 2015!

Destiny, a futuristic online first-person shooter created by Bungie was released last month, September 9th, 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 consoles.

The action shooter game developed by Halo and published by Activision take place in a sci-fi open-world location which has an unpredictably alive world where imaginative intelligence and other online players can combine to make an extraordinary experience.

After Bungie announced that they will never release a PC version, online gamers felt a bit sad about the news.

Gaming news site Polygon then asked Activision's CEO of Publishing, Erik Hirshberg, to make announcements on the hot topic

"It is [a good fit], and it's something we're talking about and looking at very carefully, and obviously it makes a lot of sense with the genre and the type of game it is," he mentioned during E3 this year. "You know, developing on PC is a different animal than developing for consoles and so we just want to make sure that we're putting one foot in front of the other and getting it right, and that it's of the highest possible quality. But obviously I see the same things about the natural fit."

A few days ago, there are leaks that came out from the popular PC download service, which is Steam, and hinted at a PC release in March of 2015, but that date has never been confirmed by Activision or Bungie.

Hirshberg added that Destiny is not yet happening for the PC market.

"It's great to see the next gen hardware is off to such a strong start and both the Xbox One and PS4 are well ahead of where their predecessors were at this point ... but if you just woke up today and looked at where people are gaming, the majority of people are still on the legacy hardware."

Sticking to its legacy hardware, Bungie didn't made a mistake because Destiny made it to the top. So far, it was 2014's Top New Game. According to the NPD Group's latest monthly video game sales report, released late Thursday, Destiny is also the most successful launch of the year so far.

"An even more prestigious feat was the fact that Destiny had the best launch month of all-time for any new IP in video game software," The NPD Group's Liam Callahan said in a statement.

It topped more than $500 million on its first day of sales, and had an astounding half-billion-dollar development and marketing budget. Therefore, Destiny was the best-selling game in September.

So for now, gamers can only enjoy playing "Destiny" in PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 yet.
