According to Wall Street Journal, when Steve Jobs introduced the first iPad in its consumers, he said that "It's so much more intimate than a laptop and so much more capable than a smartphone." Steve Jobs may not be present when the latest Apple event happened but the new iPad Air still convey Job's standard and principle in it.

The iPad Air 2 still convey the solace of bringing a tablet compared to bringing a heavier and bulkier laptop and the new Apple flagship is more reliable when it comes to functionality, if compared with a smartphone.

However, with the technology that we have right now, Tablet market is already bombarded with a huge number of devices that can clash against Apple's flagship. With known brands such as Sony, HTC, Samsung, and even Google, will Apple's "ace" win the heart of tech-buffs and tech-consumers? Is iPad Air 2 a real deal? Is it really better compared to its rivals?

The $499 tag price of iPad Air 2 does deliver as far as upgrades that followers have anticipated, as cited by Time. Unlike its forerunners such the iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2 & 3, and the iPad Air, the newest among the Apple's tablet list has the best processor.

The latest Apple product sports A8X 64-bit chip with M8 motion co-processor and a bigger RAM at 2GB. These upgrades give iPad Air 2 a longer life and an exceptional performance compared to other iPad Series.

A striking feature of this new product from Cuppertino-based tech-giant is its lightness, weighing only at 0.96 lb. It is also worthy to note that it's the thinnest among other Apple tablet with a thickness of about 6.1 mm.

iPad Air 2 has a 9.7-inch screen display with 2048 x 1546 pixel resolution. It also features anti-reflective coating and "thinner screen technology." The new iPad Air 2 also features Touch ID which allows users to unlock their device with the use of their fingerprints.
