Wentworth Miller's highly-anticipated debut in the Flash series has finally happened. The new CW Network superhero series is said to be the first major TV project that the actor had ever since Prison Break where he starred as Michael Scofield. (The Flash series spoiler ahead) Miller's Leonard Snart, a.k.a. Captain Cold is advertised as one of the main villain that Grant Gustin's Barry Allen. This is after the gun that Cisco Ramon created to stop the Flash ended up on his hands. He didn't die on the episode and it is definite that he will be back stronger in the next episodes.

Miller is just one of many Prison Break alumni expected in the show. There's Robert Knepper who will play the Clock King and Dominic Purcell as Heatwave. It is unlikely that Miller will interact with Knepper. However, and probably the much better prospect, Michael Scofield will meet Lincoln Burrows. Not to save each other but to spread terror together. That's the most that you can get to avoid any unnecessary the Flash series spoiler.

Here's an interesting trivia though. According to the Flash series spoilers, producers Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns intimated that Miller personally wanted to Purcell for the role of Heatwave who is a main crime partner of his Captain Cold in the comics. Now, Miller finally confirmed it.

"As soon as they described the character to me I thought of Dom. "Unpredictable, force-of-nature, a little rough-and-tumble...." Miller told in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter before his The Flash series episode aired.

"But I never dreamed it would actually come together. And I'm so glad it did. As men, we couldn't be more different. But he gets me and I get him. And that's true of our characters as well. What I would have had to generate from nothing with another actor - history, intimacy - Dom and I already had the moment they yelled "action."

Leonard Snart and Michael Scofield, his character in Prison Break, are both described as intelligent individuals who know how to take lead and pull things through come what may. When asked to identify what is their difference, Miller said that "Michael is willing to sacrifice himself for others, Snart likes it the other way around.
