'What A Girl Wants' Star Amanda Bynes Released After 30 Day Psychiatric Hold; Spotted In Sunset Strip Los Angeles

A few days after the judge has granted former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes another 30-day extension on 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold as requested by her doctors, she surprised everyone when she was seen roaming around Sunset Strip in Los Angeles Thursday night according to TMZ.

The troubled star was reportedly released by a hearing officer at the facility where Bynes was put on hold, as the officer felt that Bynes was "stable enough" since she has been taking her medication. Shortly after her release, the What A Girl Wants star has again took to twitter saying "I am fully capable of taking care of myself and my finances." Furthermore, she once again accused her father being a "sexual predator" and that "he should be in jail."

"I am going to court today with my lawyer to prove that I am more than capable of handling my personal life and finances and I am enraged," said the 28-year old star. "I got released from the hospital that Sam Lufti and my parents arranged to send me to because my dad is humiliated by what he's done."

Moreover, Bynes went to the London Hotel for check-in following her release at the hospital but she was denied by the staff, as TMZ reported. The star was definitely not pleased with the refusal so she reportedly threw cash at the front desk of the said hotel, where a standard room costs $299 per night. A source told TMZ that Bynes has previously stayed in the hotel and "caused big problems."

It was also last week that Rick and Lyn Bynes were again granted a temporary conservatorship over their daughter's finances while she receives the treatment she needs. But this latest development must be saddening for her parents as they have again no way of controlling their daughter's bizarre behavior, which has again resumed following her release.
