Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin could possibly be reconciling. According to a report from Hollywood Life, the GOOP founder allegedly "flirted like crazy" with her ex husband following his recent split with Jennifer Lawrence.
The ex couple, who separated earlier this year, were said to be "very friendly" while attending the recent amfAR Insipration Gala in Los Angeles.
An insider claimed: "They were acting like a couple... there didn't seem to be one shred of awkwardness between them."
"Gwyneth was extremely flirty and Chris was totally adoring, we all got the impression they are together again. She didn't bring a date, Chris was her date for the night and it just seemed like old times," the insider told Hollywood Life.
Adding to rumors that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin could be reconciling was the actress' introduction for her ex husband and his band, Coldplay, during the event.
The mother-of-two praised the lead vocalist: "This brilliant singer-songwriter has sold 8 million records... Has won every single award that there is to be won, especially Father of the Year, which he has won consecutively since 2004."
"I am speaking of Chris Martin and the incredibly talented Jonny Buckland, who together make up one-half of the legendary band Coldplay," Gwyneth Paltrow said, reported by Hollywood Life.
According to Gwyneth Paltrow news previously reported by Hollywood Life, the actress played a big role in the recent Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence breakup.
The setup involving Chris Martin's ex wife and two children - ten-year-old Apple, and eight-year-old Moses - was apparently too much for Jennifer Lawrence to deal with.
An insider said about the Gwyneth Paltrow news: "Jennifer just couldn't compete and didn't want to."
The source said that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin could be reconciling since "Chris is clearly not over Gwyneth".
"Jennifer really respects him, but she wants a man of her own. And Chris has been spending lots of time with Gwyneth and their kids lately. It was just a bit too much for Jen. She doesn't want to be second to anyone. You can't blame her," the insider told Hollywood Life.
The insider narrated that Gwyneth Paltrow "still has a lot of control" over Chris Martin.
"Gwyneth still has a lot of control over him, which isn't exactly desirable to prospective girlfriends," the source claimed.
The way things are at the moment, no sane person would want to be an accessory to their conscience uncoupling," the insider added.
