Video gaming enthusiasts were entertained and thrilled to the maximum when they were ushered into the concept of an interconnected world controlled by technology. This is the excitement-filled scenario conceptualized in the record-breaking video game "Watch Dogs" in 2012.

The video gaming world is now again abuzz with excitement and with a higher sense of anticipation as the sequel to the record-breaking success of the video game "Watch Dogs" is now in the pipeline.

Christian Today has reported that the much-anticipated franchised sequel 'Watch Dogs 2' will be released at a still unconfirmed date most probably in the summer of 2016. Media reports further disclosed that this sequel is formatted to run through PC, PS4 and Xbox consoles.

The upcoming action-packed video game "Watch Dogs 2" is rumored to make a significant departure from its highly-successful predecessor, according to Christian Today. Instead of a core storyline revolving around the fictionalized version of Chicago, the rumored sequel will include several intriguing urban centers such as Tokyo, Singapore, New York, New Jersey, Dubai, and even as far as Beijing and Stockholm

These significant location changes, in the highly-anticipated sequel, are reason enough to keep us awake wondering how the new story will go this time. Amidst the speculations, one thing is clear. The sequel is going to pack much punching power to keep our feet up as we scream our hearts out in the upcoming flick.

Game Rant has disclosed that the return of the "Watch Dogs" protagonist, Aiden Pearce, is not yet confirmed. But there are strong speculations, in the rumor mills, that he might be replaced by a different protagonist. According to Game Rant, CEO Yves Guillemot cannot give an affirmative answer yet as to who exactly will play the role of the protagonist in the sequel.

Cinema Blend has confirmed that Vice President Lionel Raynaud Of Ubisoft Montreal admitted to the media that the original "Watch Dogs" is a flawed game. To rectify the technical glitches, Ubisoft Montreal is planning to introduce radical changes to take video-gamers to a whole new level of perfection.

Entertainment media is bent on giving credence to the circulating speculations that the upcoming sequel "Watch Dogs 2" is not only going to be more intriguing than the original game but more exciting as well, but most of all, more chart-topping and record-breaking than the first episode.
