After the release of "Magic Mike" in 2012, fans have continued to clamor for a sequel-another chance to see Channing Tatum on stage with other top celebrities like Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and of course, Matthew McConaughey. Soon enough, "Magic Mike XXL" was announced to be in development. And fans could not get enough of information of the upcoming "Magic Mike XXL". Here's what we know so far.
First off, "Magic Mike XXL" release date. With development beginning in 2012 and a lot of talks between production members, a solid July 1, 2015 has been set as release date for "Magic Mike XXL". While filming began this August reportedly in Myrtle Beach in South California (among other locations), news reveals that production has been ongoing since then. By October, the Stripper convention has been filmed, and to day reports reveal that filming already wrapped. So far, no news of delay on "Magic Mike XXL" release date has been revealed. This means that we are a go on the July 2, 2015 release date for "Magic Mike XXL".
Early this year, Channing Tatum has already revealed the plot of "Magic Mike XXL" upon its release date. The plot of "Magic Mike XXL" upon the release date will focus on the strippers taking a road trip to reach the Stripper Convention. They will drive from Tampa to Myrtle Beach, and this is where the plot will thicken.
Returning cast members apart from Channing Tatum include Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Alex Pettyfer with Adam Rodrigues, Gabriel Iglesias, and Andie MacDowell. Also joining the cast of "Magic Mike XXL" upon the release date are Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett Smith, Elizabeth Banks, Ric Flair, and recently football player Michael Strahan.
