Check out this guide on how to Install Android 4.4.4 Kitkat on Samsung Galaxy S3 with the model number I9300.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been more than two years old and was launched in May, 2012. It originally ran on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and can be updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Currently Samsung is still rolling out its Android 4.4.4 update to its various handsets, but the Korean tech giant had stopped its update on the S3 and users are stuck on the Jelly Bean.

Before installing this custom ROM you must take note  that:

It is advisable that the battery level is at least 80 percent. Samsung Galaxy S3 users also need to make sure that the appropriate USB drivers are already installed on the computer so the Android device can easily connect to the PC.

Furthermore, creating a backup for all the files installed on the smartphone is necessary. ClockWorkMod is one of the most recommended recovery tools for making a backup.

Note: Install at your own risk.

Step 10: Then tap 'choose zip from sdcard' and go to Android 4.4.4 ROM .zip file in SD card and enter the installation process. [Note: use 'Volume' keys to navigate and 'Power' button to select options]
