World's top 3 smartphone maker Xiaomi just finished its 10th flash sale in India last November 11, releasing a total of 65,000 Xiaomi Redmi 1S units. All units were reportedly sold out, and for those who have been trying to grab hold of the brand's top seller smartphone, Xiaomi will hold another sale tomorrow, November 18.

To date, there is no information from the company as to how many units of Redmi 1S it will release this time around, but it is surely guaranteed to be another success, just like the last flash sales. Although Xiaomi is no longer announcing how long it took for the device to be out of stock, the fact that they are still not done holding flash sales can only mean the demand is still there. Besides, the company might not sell it anymore in the future once they release their current flagship phone by early 2015, the much-awaited Mi4.

More than being an economical phone which costs only USD100 (£60; Rs5,999), the device has great features that include 4.7in IPS display, runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating platform, and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with a 1GB RAM. Redmi 1S also showcases an 8MP primary camera and a 1.6MP secondary camera. The device also provides users of an 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via an external microSD card. Moreover, A 2,000 mAh battery powers the entire Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphone.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi recently announced that it will be "releasing a special South East Asian edition" of the Redmi Note, which is its 4G version. It will be available in Singapore and HongKong come November 18. According to reports, the new phablet is lighter by 10g than the original 3G version. Though it's really not quite noticeable, the fact that there it now has a lighter frame might be a possible come on to some users.
