The last episode of "Teen Wolf" season 4 ended with Derek gaining his powers back and is again a werewolf, Chris joins the Calaveras to take down Kate, and Peter is locked up at Eichen House, near the chambers of Dr. Valack who has a literally embedded third eye on his forehead.
Early this year upon the release of "Teen Wolf" season 4, MTV renewed the supernatural series for its fifth season that will be split in two parts, 10 episodes per part. Renewal news also comes with updates that cast member Dylan Sprayberry who plays Liam Dunbar will be upgraded as a recurring cast member upon the "Teen Wolf" season 5 release date.
"Teen Wolf" season 5 main cast includes Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechin, Holland Roden, Shelling Hennig, Cody Saintgnue, Khylin Rhambo, and Arden Cho. Recurring characters include JR Bourne, Linden Ashby, and Ryan Kelley. Although these are the characters returning upon the "Teen Wolf" season 5 release date, there may be some who aren't according to Holland Roden.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Holland Roden who plays Bansee Lyrdia Martin teases a bit about the upcoming "Teen Wolf" season 5. She shares vaguely that "It's sort of a toss up of who's coming back for season 5. But somebody is not coming back."
Ryan Kelley, who plays Deputy Jordan Parrish returning upon "Teen Wolf" season 5 release date talks about speculations of his character. In an interview with myFanbase, he shares "One idea that I've heard a lot of people guess that I'm really enjoying is that Parrish is some sort of dragon. I'd love that, I think Dragons are very powerful and who doesn't want to be powerful?"
