Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4: The Note series has set the trend of bigger screen size or the "phablets".  Now, that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is official can it surpass the powerful Galaxy Note 3?

We've compared these two smartphones and we'll see what has been upgraded from the predecessor.

Design and Screen

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 carries the faux leather back we've seen in the Note 3 with metal edges, and so with the Note 3.

The only difference is that the Note 4 boasts a metal unibody design and the latter carries Samsung's plastic body case design.

The Note 4 comes in at 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm and 176g, while the Note 3 is 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm and 168g. So there are slight differences in their dimensions and weight.

Both phones comes in variant colors.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 carries an incredible 2560 x 1440 Quad HD. Its Super AMOLED technology makes it 45% more pixels than the iPhone 6 Plus.

While its predecessor sports a have 5.7 inch Super AMOLED displays.

Camera

The Note 4 sports the same 16MP sensor found in the Galaxy S5 with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 4K video recording at 30fps and a wide-angle 3.7MP front camera.

There's a big difference in camera's megapixel as the Note 3 has only 13Mp rear camera and 2MP front camera .

Though these phones are both good snappers.

 

Performance

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 first Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor to feature in a smartphone, clocked at 2.7GHz, Adreno 420 GPU graphics and supported by Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a a powerful device with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU.

Both comes in 32Gb and 64Gb variants and supports external memory expansion.

Features

The only advantage of the newest Note is its heart-rate monitor and Samsung's S Health app to track your activity levels and overall health. Workout Trainer and Lark Activity Tracker are some apps that work with the S Health App.
