The Expendables 4 Movie To Add Manny Pacquiao? Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger Recruited The Boxing Star To Join In Their Film

Nov 24, 2014 03:55 AM EST | By Staff Reporter

The Expendables film series cast is made up of the entertainment industry's most established actions stars. In its last sequel, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, and Dolph Lundgren were joined by sports superstars Ronda Rousey and Victor Ortiz. For The Expendables 4, looks like the team is going to welcome one gigantic sports icon. He is no other than Manny Pacquiao.

Shortly after the Manny Pacquiao-Chris Algieri fight in Macau, which the Filipino boxer won, rumors about the eight-division world champion joining The Expendables 4 cast swarmed the internet. This is after Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger personally visited Pacquiao in his locker room. The visit was not just "meet and greet" but there were also talks about teaming up for The Expendables 4 movie.

Quoting 'someone' from Manny Pacquiao's camp, Your Health Mag website said that the two parties have already agreed on the deal.

"But someone from Manny Pacquiao's camp affirmed that something more came up, Stallone and Schwarzenegger recruited the Filipino boxer to join the cast of The Expendables 4," the website said.

"The Filipino champ allegedly accepted the offer and the two legends left the room with smiles on their faces."

Back in 2012, some members of the Expendables film cast expressed their interest in having Manny Pacquiao in the next sequel.

"I want to say a big hi to Pacquiao because..he's one of the best fighters in the world. Yeah," said Terry Crews during an interview with Ricky Lo.

"Expendables 3, [with] Manny Pacquiao, you said it right now! That would be wonderful."

Right now, there's nothing sure yet on the Expendables 4 movie cast. Among those who are being recruited to star in the fourth installment of the action film are Pierce Brosnan, Dwayne Johnson and Jackie Chan. The Rock was asked personally by Stallone as the new villain while Jackie Chan is up for a guest role.
