Nearing the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" release date, developer Team ninja unveils final boss and the return of Raidou from previous "Dead or Alive" games. Two versions will also be coming out: read on for full-priced vs. free-to-play version differences.

First and foremost is the release date: "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" release date remains on a steady and solid February 2015. Specifically February 17 for North American release date, February 19 for Japan and February 20, 2015 release date for Europe.

Recently, Team Ninka unveiled Raidou who will be part of "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" upon its release date. Randou's backstory is reported by Siliconera as, "Presumed dead after being defeated in the original DOA Tournament, Raidou was partially reconstructed with cybernetic parts and now returns as a half-mechanized killing machine. Having lost his memory as a side effect of his cybernetic upgrades, all that remains is his unquenchable thirst for power, and his willingness to use whatever brutal methods it takes to achieve glory."

Upon the release date, "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" is full-priced via download or disk. Another variant comes in as free-to-play that has of course, a few less characters and possibly a lot less different than the full priced version.

In full-priced vs. free-to-play version upon the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" release date has a few differences. Full priced "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" downloaded or bought in disk form has hall the characters (of course) playable and available for gamers.

The "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" free-to-play version has a teaser version of the "Last Round" where purchasing will be needed to further into the game. The free-to-play version also comes in with only four main fightesr: Hayabusa, Kasumi, Ayane and Hayate.

Ultimately, in full-priced vs. free-to-play versions of "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round", of course to enjoy the whole game, full-priced version is suggested. However, for new players it is recommended that a free-to-play version be downloaded, for trial of "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round".
