Golden Globe Nominee Oscar Isaac Confirms Role As Apocalypse In Upcoming X-Men Movie

There have been rumors on the casting of the upcoming movie X-men:Apocalypse as of late, knowing that the cameras will start rolling in Montreal by April 2015. News emerged of up and coming stars Chloe Grace Moretz (If I Stay), Elle Fanning (Maleficent) and Hailee Steinfeld (Enders Game) are reportedly being eyed to to take on the role of the younger version of Jean Grey, for the much- anticipated movie X-Men: Apocalypse, as recently reported by The Wrap. Moreover, Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar), Ben Hardy (East Enders, a British TV series) and Charlie Rowe (Neverland) are also reportedly being considered for the role of young Cyclops. But these only remain as mere hear-says because no confirmation from both camps has been received to date.

However, one thing is for sure on who is gonna play the "most dangerous villain" the X-Men will get to face so far. En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse, will be played by Golden Globe nominee (for Inside Llewyn Davis) Oscar Isaac. The actor, who's also one of the casts in Star Wars:Episode VII- The Force Awakens showing on 2015, is someone to watch out for among the up and coming actors in Hollywood.

Main villain Apocalypse is a massive, towering figure in the original comics of Marvel, although there were other versions of his character in animated TV series. We are excited to find out how they will transform the gorgeous actor Isaac in this particular movie franchise. Producer and writer Simon Kinberg has mentioned that "Apocalypse will deliver a massive "spectacle" and will be "even bigger" than X-Men: Days of Future Past, serving as the conclusion to the First Class trilogy."
