Samsung remains to be one of the top phone manufacturers in the world, but Chinese manufacturers are tailing behind the Korean tech giant and now the biggest Android rivals in the market. Though these Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi releases their flagships in selected Asian regions, they made a good record on their sales.

Xiaomi Mi4 Vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Samsung had been successful with its Note series flagships but as Chinese manufacturers continues to produce high-end flagships with lower price tags. It becomes a stiff competition.

Design

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 carries the faux leather back we've seen in the Note 3 with metal edges.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 weighs 176g and 8.5mm thick  It's a 5.7-inch 2560x1440-pixel Super AMOLED display makes it better t than its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the screen is more responsive and has better viewing angles.

Xiaomi Mi4 shares the same resolution and screen display with its predecessor the Mi3.  They both features a 5-inch Full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution.

Hardware and OS

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the  first phone to feature a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor to feature in a smartphone, clocked at 2.7GHz, Adreno 420 GPU graphics and supported by Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz interface.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with 32GB and 64GB internal storage models and expandable external storage up to 128GB, while the Xiaomi has a 16GB and 64GB variant without external memory expansion.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi4 is powered by a 2.5 GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and a 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the newest MIUI 6 out of the box.

Camera

The Note 4 sports the same 16MP sensor found in the Galaxy S5 with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 4K video recording at 30fps and a wide-angle 3.7MP front camera.

While the Xiaomi Mi4 sports a 13MP rear camera with and Sony Exmor IMX214 rear snapper and 8MP Sony Exmor IMX219 front camera.
