Marvel Movies has recently announced who will be playing the "most dangerous villain" the X-Men will get to face so far in their latest installment of the movie aptly titled X-Men: Apocalypse. En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse, will be played by Oscar Isaac.

Isaac is a Guatemalan- born American actor and singer, who became known for his award-winning lead role in the 2013 movie Inside Llewyn Davis, where he played a 'talented yet unsuccessful folk singer' set in Greenwich Village in 1961. He was nominated Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globe for his role. Moreover, the film won a Grand Prix at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The actor must really have an exceptional talent considering he graduated from the Juilliard School in New York City, where he became part of the school's Drama Division Group from 2001 to 2005.

It was also in 2013 when Isaac landed a role in JC Chandor's film A Most Violent Year in which he replaced Javier Bardem (from James Bond movie Skyfall). And earlier this year, the 35-year old actor signed a deal to become part of Star Wars:Episode VII- The Force Awakens showing on 2015. Now that he is taking on the role of the immortal villain Apocalypse, Isaac is indeed someone to watch out for among the up and coming actors in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, the X-Men: Apocalypse movie is reportedly set in the 1980's which will include younger versions of some main characters, similar to the last installment of the movie, X-Men: Days Of Future Past. There is no news as of this time if the movie's plot will take after the revolutionary Age of Apocalypse story based on Marvel comics, but if that is the case, we are sure X-men fans are in for a treat. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in 2016.
