‘House Of Cards’ Release Date, News And Updates: President Underwood Teases The Return Of Season 3 On February; Final Episode To Be Filmed Away From Washington D.C. This Month

President Underwood is again hitting the headlines after teasing his fans worldwide via Twitter early this month after Netflix has announced the release date of the highly anticipated, multi-awarded drama series "House of Cards". Updates reveal filming of the last episode for Season 3, and this time it's not in Washington.

Finally "House of Cards" announces the release date for Season 3 via Twitter-and it wasn't after our favorite President Underwood has had his fun. First day of this month, the official Twitter account of "House of Cards" unleashed a tweet that made "House of Cards" fans go wild. The post read: "Breaking News: President Underwood and the First Lady will be making an announcement today at 11A.M. EST. Please stand by..."

True enough, the Internet exploded with speculations on what news will be announced the following day, with fans wondering if spoilers will be unleashed. Sadly, none of the details of the upcoming "House of Cards" Season 3 plot was shared, but this did not leave fans empty handed.

The following day, "House of Cards" posted a 12-second video of President Underwood and the First Lady, climbing aboard an aircraft, with the shot taken from inside. There are neither dialogue nor music accompanying this teaser, and only a two lines that reveal the release date of "House of Cards" Season 3. Under the "House of Cards" "American" flag is the release date set on February 27, 2015 at Netflix for the premier of "House of Cards" Season 3.

"House of Cards" Season 3 is set for 13-episodes beginning the release date, with cast members lead by multi-awarded actor Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright as his wife, Claire Underwood. According to reports, while most of the episodes of "House of Cards" Season 3 have been filmed for the nearing release date, the last episode of "House of Cards" Season 3 will film somewhere in New Mexico and some in Las Vegas-far away from the usual Washington D.C. location.
