The upcoming flagship from Sony the alleged Xperia Z4 is said to be launched at CES in Las Vegas next year.

Rumors suggest that the Sony Xperia Z4 might not follow the trend of larger screen display.

According to a source of Tech Radar the company opts to retain Z3's 5.2inch display and will feature better resolution of 1080p display.

Meanwhile, PhoneArena supported this speculation that according to its source who was present during an internal presentation by Sony which shows the new Sony Xperia Z series sports  a 5.2-inch display.

It was first claimed that the  upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 will have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset.

But according to Business Korea, "Korea quoted a source as saying that "Qualcomm is faced with hard-to-solve problems. The Snapdragon 810 overheats when it reaches a specific voltage. It also slows down owing to problems with the RAM controller connected to the AP" but nothing is confirmed now."

Phone arena said in a report that the Z4 will instead have a Snapdragon 805 processor.

"Due to rumoured delays with the Snapdragon 810, and the likelihood of Sony showing the Z4 off at CES next month, at the moment it looks like the Snapdragon 805 is the safest bet, which is still an upgrade over the Xperia Z3's Snapdragon 801 chipset," the website expressed their speculations.

Phone Arena also presume that, the Sony Xperia Z4 will sport a 5.4-inch Quad HD Triluminos display, and as it is reiterated that a Snapdragon 805 processor is safer to use and it will run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. It will be supported by a 4GB of RAM.

Sony, is also reported to be in the works of Sony Z4 Ultra and Sony Z4 compact that may be unveiled alongside with the Sony Xperia Z4.
