Dickey's barbecue store in West Jordan, Utah, announced that they will be giving away $1 pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches when they have their grand opening celebration this Thursday, July 19.
The location of the new venue, located at 7742 Campus View Dr., Building B in Jordan Landing, will also be giving away free barbecue for a year to three lucky customers at the grand opening event, said a press release issued by Dickey's Barbecue on Monday.

"West Jordan is a great community," said franchise owner Blake Turner, who will run this location with his father Paul and his older brothers Troy and Trent. "We are proud to be serving our authentic mouthwatering barbecue. There are many shortcuts that can be made in the food industry and Dickey's stays away from that. We are proud to deliver the best possible product in the most convenient way."
Dickey's, which has had many new franchise store openings recently throughout the United States, opened in 1941, and is considered the largest barbecue franchise in the world, noted the press release, and also the largest barbecue chain.
On a national scale, Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants can be found in 43 states across the union at over 230 locations, noted the press release. Availabilities are open to those interested in opening their own Dickey's Barbecue Restaurant, where future franchise owners can just visit the official website for more information.
Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants' motto has long been "Passionate about the Art of Great Barbecue."
