The last 'The Flash' series episode saw the arrival of Reverse Flash, the main nemesis of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). In that episode, it is well documented how Barry got outpowered by the mysterious 'Man in Yellow Suit.' Their match-up was one sided. However, it won't be long before the first Flash gets his revenge. That is if everything will go as planned. In fact, Barry and his team at STAR Labs are already working on a new feature of his power.
In a scoop by the Entertainment Weekly about the next The Flash series episodes, Grant Gustin was quoted as saying that his character is about to get a vibrating power that they hope can stop Reverse Flash.
"After the disastrous first bout, Barry will set his sights on testing the limitations of his powers in a bid to match his nemesis," EW's Natalie Abrams wrote when asked if The Flash will meet Reverse Flash again. The Canadian actor also teased that that power might include a time travel capability.
"We're exploring the vibrating a lot going forward and what the vibrating can do," Grant Gustin said. "And how to slow things down, see things and survey situations with time stopped, essentially." Will those powers also include time travel? "Maybe," Gustin says with the highest pitch voice of someone trying to keep a secret.
Before Reverse Flash though, Barry will have to take on two other villains. Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) will return to Central City but this time, a lot stronger as he is accompanied by Heatwave (Dominic Purcell). The episode is called 'Revenge of the Rogues' and will air on January 20, the first since the show aired its winter finale on December 9.
Also set to appear in The Flash series episode 10 are Peyton List (The Tomorrow People) who will play as Captain Cold's villainous sister and Sleepy Hollow's Nicholas Gonzales who will play as Dante, brother of series regular Cisco Ramon (played by Carlos Valdes).
