Dunkin' Donuts announced that it will be opening 15 new chains in Germany over the next five years as a way to expand their global presence.

Dunkin' Donuts signed a franchise agreement with locals in Germany, including those in the areas of Frankfort and Rhine-Main to expand its morning foods and coffee shop in the European nation, said Dunkin' Donuts in a press release issued on Monday. The agreement was made with Germany local entrepreneurs Sadi Sanlav and Mo Rahimi, who will open the 15 stores within the next five years.

"We are very excited to announce the expansion of the Dunkin' Donuts brand in Germany, where we have developed an engaged and enthusiastic following for our high-quality beverages and baked goods," Giorgio Minardi, President, Dunkin' Brands International, said for the press release. "We have found strong local partners in Sadi Sanlav and Mo Rahimi, who are successful entrepreneurs in the restaurant industry. We look forward to supporting them as they bring Dunkin' Donuts to even more consumers across Germany."

The 15 to come in the next few years will be added to the 30 Dunkin' Donuts stores that are currently open in Germany, said the press release, found in the Berlin and Nordrhein-Westfalen areas, said the press release. The same famous breakfast items available at Dunkin' Donuts in the United States, like hot and iced coffee, tea, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and of course donuts, will be available for purchase at the German chains.

"Dunkin' Donuts is one of the world's most respected quick service restaurant brands," Sanlav, Dunkin' Donuts franchisee, was quoted as stating for the press release. "Mo and I are proud to represent Dunkin' Donuts in Germany and look forward to bringing Dunkin' Donuts' range of high-quality hot and iced beverages, sandwiches and baked goods, along with the brand's great value and customer service, to people throughout the Frankfurt and Rhine-Main areas."
