Nicki Minaj Opens Up About Having An Abortion! The Anaconda Singer Shares Her Hardest Decision She Has To Make

Weeks ago, rapstress Nicki Minaj got tongues wagging with the intriguing revelations about her personal life in "All Things Go," a track off her "The Pinkprint" album which she released early December last year.

One of the brow-raising subjects she mentioned in the said song was her teenage abortion, on which she has recently opened up more about in an interview.

"I thought I was going to die," she told Rolling Stone about terminating her pregnancy. "I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I'd ever gone through."

"It'd be contradictory if I said I wasn't pro-choice. I wasn't ready. I didn't have anything to offer a child."

Nicki also went on to say that the incident "haunted me all my life." It was also revealed that the father of the child "was an older guy from Queens she dated while attending the prestigious Manhattan performing-arts high school LaGuardia."

The "Anaconda" hitmaker also pointed out that it was not the first time that she talked about the abortion, Billboard noted. She said she had talked about it on "Autobiography," a track she did early in her music career. However, she didn't think anyone would hear the track as she wasn't as famous then.

Judging by the 32-year-old artist's statements back in November regarding becoming a mother, it appears she won't be repeating that same decision.

"If I'm done with my fifth album and I don't have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman because I feel like I was put here to be a mother," she was quoted by Us Weekly as saying.
