Dunkin' Donuts announced that they will expand their corporation throughout Latin America by opening 125 chains within the next ten years.

Dunkin' Donuts plans to open stores throughout the nations of Chile, Colombia, and Peru in the next ten years, via their local South American associates Fagase S.A., Donucol, Ltd, and Nutra S.A., stated a press elease issued by Dunkin' Donuts on Wednesday.

"We are excited to bring Dunkin' Donuts' wide range of high-quality beverages and baked goods to even more consumers across Latin America," Giorgio Minardi, President, Dunkin' Brands International, stated for the press release. "We already have great traction for our brand in Chile, Colombia and Peru as a result of our relationships with these three experienced, successful in-country partners and believe Dunkin' Donuts has an even brighter future in Latin America as a result of these expansion plans."

The collaboration will give way to the opening of 38 new Dunkin' Donuts stores in Chile, 70 locations in Columbia, and 25 new shops in Peru, said the press release, and will have all of the menu items that the brand is known for - coffee, baked goods, and of course a wide variety of donuts. The Dunkin' Donuts stores in Latin America will also have local brews like Manjar or Arequipe (Dulce de Leche) Donuts in all three countries and the Iced Chicha Fruit Coolatta in Peru, made with Peruvian purple corn, in addition to their famous Coolatta frozen drinks and Iced Tea, freshly brewed, noted the press release.

There are already 300 Dunkin' Donuts stores spread throughout Latin America, including 200 in Chile, Colombia, and Peru alone. Few more stores are found in the countries of Panama, Ecuador and Honduras through Central and South America. The first Dunkin' Donuts opened this May in Guatamala, said the press release, with the aid of the company's local partner, Grupo Intur.
