Following the admissions from Kristen Stewart and her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders that they had an affair last week, Stewart is apparently planning to write a letter to the director's wife to apologize for the discretion.

Feeling guilty of what happened, as she said in her public statement after photos immerged of her and Sanders together in Los Angeles last week, Stewart wants to write a letter to Liberty Ross, wife of Sanders and costar in "Snow White and the Huntsman," reported RadarOnline this week.

"Kristen didn't feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline. "Instead, she's going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions. She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology - but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first.

Stewart made a public apology this week after the photos of her and Sanders were released by US Weekly specifically to boyfriend Robert Pattinson, with whom she starred in "The Twilight Saga" as husband and wife.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said in a statement.

"Kristen feels she made a terribly naïve mistake and will do anything to make amends. The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did," the source told RadarOnline.
