Just when we think our favorite Chris Pratt ended the year 2014 on a high note, there is one more good news for the fast rising A-list actor! Last week, Forbes Magazine has listed the "highest-grossing actors overall" with figures given by BoxOfficeMojo, and yes, you guessed it right-- the now hunk actor Chris Pratt bagged the 2nd highest grossing actor of 2014, with his films Guardians of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie earning $1.2 billion worldwide. Jennifer Lawrence is at number 1, with her movies the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and X-Men: Days of Future Past, earning a close $1.4 billion globally. That makes Pratt the top grossing actor in the male category, thanks to his 2 blockbuster movies. Now, we can't wait for his next big film this year, the Jurassic World, and see how well it will do in theaters worldwide.

Meanwhile, below are the rest of the 10 top grossing actors of 2014 as reported by Forbes Magazine:

Scarlett Johansson movies earned $1.18 billion worldwide with her roles in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Lucy" and "Under the Skin."

Mark Wahlberg who played the main character in "Transformers: Age of Extinction," grossed $1 billion worldwide, and "The Gambler," estimated to have made $5 million on its Dec. 25 release.

Chris Evans' films "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Snowpiercer" grossed $801 million globally.

Emma Stone who starred in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ and two other indie hits: Woody Allen's "Magic in the Moonlight" and "Birdman," cumulatively earned $764 million worldwide.

Angelina Jolie's "Maleficent" was her biggest hit to date as an actress, with a total $758 million globally.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman typically split their time between blockbusters and indie films. While "X-Men" racked up $746 million worldwide, McAvoy's role in "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby" and Fassbender's in Sundance favorite "Frank" didn't add much to their total gross figure.
