It's that time of the year again where Hollywood will be all glitz and glamour and on January 7 at 9PM, the 40th Annual People's Choice Awards will be happening live at Hollywood's Nokia Theatre. The event will be hosted for the first time by mother-daughter on-screen tandem, the six-time primetime Emmy Award winner Allison Janney and People's Choice Awards nominee herself, Anna Faris.

In an interview by ET Canada, the 2 hosts revealed its a bit "nerve-wracking" for them to be in front of a live audience, not because they are unfamiliar, but because they don't play any role but themselves.

" It's a little nerve-wracking, we both have done theatre before so we are familiar with a live audience, but usually we're in front of the live audience as a character, not as ourselves," Janney said.  "The good news," says Chris Pratt's wife Faris, "is that we have a lot of happy people in the audience. Everyone's going to be happy to be there or hopefully they'll feel the happiness."

And speaking of now everyone's favorite Guardians of the Galaxy main man Chris Pratt, is he supporting his wife for tonight's Awards show? "I want my husband to come with me, but I also want to walk the red carpet with Alison. Our sweet son, on a more serious note, is having eye surgery so he may be at home with him, but I'd love to see him," Faris told ET. Aren't they both adorable?

When asked about her husband, Faris candidly said, "to be honest lately he's been intimidating me, so sometimes I just want him to stay home." The gorgeous actress jokingly called Pratt her "movie-star husband" probably because everyone can't seem to have enough of the equally funny actor.

The couple's firstborn Jack was born premature at 3 pounds and 12 ounces, to which, the doctors said that the baby may need surgery to correct his eyes. Meanwhile, Pratt revealed in an interview that their now 2-year old son is doing really well. "Our Jack went from a small, helpless little squirt to a strong, smart, happy, funny, beautiful boy who loves monster trucks and Daniel Tiger, and, believe it or not, loves vegetables," said the 35-year old hunk.
