Blink 182 News: Travis Barker And Ex-Wife Still Living Under One Roof; Both Arrested Over Death Threats

Jan 17, 2015 10:54 PM EST | By Fred Yelland

Blink 182 drummer and ex-wife Shanna Moakler who are still living together were arrested yesterday over criminal threats against each other. The Playboy model claims that Barker threatened to kill her while Barker is saying she did the same.

TMZ reports that on December 7 the two got into a heated argument over a reality TV show Travis wants to do with their two kids Landon and Alabama. They also report that they've gotten a hold of legal documents filed by Shanna in hopes of transferring the children's custody to her.

According to the article, Travis said, "If I could, I'd put a bullet in your head." Moakler called the police, when they arrived at their home in L.A. Travis claims that Moakler threatened him to have her boyfriend come over to beat him up.

Both were handcuffed and taken into custody.

Shanna Moakler claims that Barker's erratic behavior started after Barker's plane crash back in 2008.

Elsewhere with Travis Barker, he and his fellow Blink 182 bandmates have announced that found a record label to release their latest album; their first since their split with their long time label Interscope in 2011.

Guitarist Tom Delonge gives an update with an interview with NME:

"We've just started the conversation in the past couple of days of when/where and how to start recording," said the "I Miss You" singer. "We've been kind of taking our time trying to figure out the best way to put the record out, you know. I think we just solved that puzzle a couple of weeks ago. I don't think we have anything to prove. I think we have to just try and go into it and try to make the best album of our career and create a situation that's really creative and conducive to that idea." he said.

Adding "Blink is celebrated for its immediacy and its legacy and for its potential, but not in the realms of doing things that elevate it about the audience. It has to be something that's tangible and down to earth in a way."

Their last release was "Dogs Eating Dogs" EP back in December 2012, independently launched after their split from Interscope in 2011.
