Xiaomi, the "Apple of China," has made an impressive record of sales last year from its entry-level Redmi phones to its Mi series. The Mi series are among the competitive phones in the market today, and dubbed as flagship killer.

Few days ago, Xiaomi has unveiled another flagship killer, the Xiaomi Mi Note and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. The latter was the first smartphone to be armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.

Xiaomi Mi4 Vs Xiaomi Mi Note: Design and Screen

When it comes to their designs, the Xiaomi Mi Note has the total package worth your money. It boasts a 5.7inch full HD Retina display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 386ppi. The display also comes with a 95% NTSC color gamut.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi4 has a smaller screen of 5.0 inches but renders the same resolution.

Specs wise, both phones are powered by the same quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked speed of 2.5Ghz and supported by a 3GB of RAM.

Xioami Mi4 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, while the Xiaomi Mi Note is shipped running on Android 5.0 Lollipop; both with the newest MIUI 6 out of the box.

In terms of their storage, both phones do not support microSD expansion. Xiaomi Mi Note offers 16GB or 32GB internal memory, and Xiaomi Mi4 has 16 and 64GB variant.

The Xiaomi Mi Note has a 3000 mAh, while the Xiaomi Mi4 has 3080 mAh.

Xiaomi Mi4 sports a 13MP rear camera with and Sony Exmor IMX214 rear snapper and 8MP Sony Exmor IMX219 front camera.

In comparison, Xiaomi Mi Note has a 13MP camera at the back and 4MP camera on the front. The rear camera features optical image stabilization, dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and six lenses on each other.

Xiaomi Mi4 16GB retailed in China for an approximately $320, and 64GB s for $405, while Xiaomi Mi Note is reported to cost at 2299 yuan ($370) for a 16GB model, and 2799 yuan ($450) for the 64GB model.
