Oppo Find 7 Vs Huawei Ascend Mate 7: Showdown Of The Chinese Manufactured Phones; Design, Specs And Fetaures Compared!

The Oppo Find 7 and Ascend Mate 7 were among the competitive flagships with notably low price tags that challenged the top phone manufacturers in 2014.

Design and Screen

When it comes to design, Huawei has pulled off a great design on its Ascend Mate 7 that boasts an 83% screen-body-ratio and made up of 95% metal. It has a 6-inch screen display that renders a 1080p resolution with 381 ppi.

While, the Oppo Find 7 also features slimmer bezels but has smaller screen of 5.5inch. It is one of the few smartphones to feature a 2k display that results to a pixel density of 538 ppi.

Hardware and OS

Under the hood, The Ascend Mate 7 is powered by an octa-core (1.8GHz A15 + 1.3GHz A7) Kirin 925 SoC paired with a Mali T628 GPU. It runs the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat. It has two storage variants of 16GB that comes with 2GB of RAM and the 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM. Its external storage is expandable up to 128GB.

On the other hand, the Oppo Find 7 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 8974-AC processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. It is supported by a 3GB of RAM with a GPU of Adreno 330, and has one storage variant of 32GB.

The Huawei's device has a 4100 mAh, while the Oppo Find 7 has a 3000 mAh.

Camera

The Oppo Find 7 has a 13MP camera at the back that can reportedly produce images with a 50MP quality and a 5MP camera in the front. Its rear snapper features BSI, HDR, panorama, macro mode, and night mode scenes.

In comparison, the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 sports a 13 megapixel camera with camera BSI sensor and LED flash and a 5MP front snapper with Panoramic view effect.

Price

According to Fuse Joplin, the Oppo Find 7 costs around $600, while the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 retails around $510.
