The '2016 Honda HR-V' Is Here; Specs And Latest News On The Crossover SUV Inside

The 2016 version of the Jazz-based SUV has been one of the most anticipated releases along with the Jeep Renegade in the crossover compact SUV category, joining Nissan's Juke and the Mini Countryman. This latest model boasts new exterior styling, umatched cabin spaciousness and improved fuel economy.

Three trims are available for the HR-V: VTi, VTi-L and VTi-S - all powered by a 1.8 liter gasoline motor coupled with a CVT automatic transmission gearbox. 

Safety features include Honda's Lane Watch System: a small camera intergrated in the side mirror allows user to monitor the road when merging, displaying the vehicle's blind spot when the turn light is activated. The City-Brake System, a feature that monitors the road ahead and automatically applies brakes when it detects an imminent crash.

Honda also unveiled the Acura NSX at the North American International Auto Show, marking the triumphant return of their iconic 90's supercar.
