Feb 08, 2015 01:05 PM EST | By Paula Smith

Fleetwood Mac Singer Stevie Nicks $1M cocaine abuse and love affairs during her heydays were revealed on the biography "Stevie Nicks: Visions, Dreams and Rumours."

The book was launched in the U.S. on Feb. 5.

In an excerpt from the biography acquired by Daily Mail, the rock icon's cocaine addiction has led her "having nosebleeds, falls on stage, blackouts and near overdoses." Aside from cocaine she had also issues with other substance abuse such as, alcohol, Quaaludes to sleep and cigarettes. T

he worst part of her cocaine addiction was reportedly when she bought $1M worth of cocaine and "it burned a hole in her nose the size of a dime." Rumors also claimed that she then took the cocaine blown up on her behind.

"There was no way to get off the white horse and I didn't want to," she told biographer Zoe Howe.

She only reduced her cocaine intake when her doctor warned her that she might suffer from a serious brain damage if her drug abuse continues, and band members have urged her to seek professional help at Betty Ford Center. After cleaning up from cocaine, she became addicted to the anxiety medication Klonopin that lasted over nine years.

"I believe there have been angels with me constantly through these last twenty years, or I wouldn't be alive," Nicks said in the book.

The 66-year-old pop rock singer had also revealed her on-and-off relationship with Don Henley and her two year affair with Mick Fleetwood who was married at the time.

Moreover, the biggest revelation on her biography was about her greatest love, Joe Walsh.

"There was nothing more important than Joe Walsh, not my music, not my songs, not anything. I remember days of misery waiting by the phone. Me in my house, with him saying 'I'm going to visit you.' I would kick everyone out because I just wanted to be with him, and not a phone call. [I put up with it because] I was in love with him. With all the drugs, we were a couple on the way to hell. It took me a long, long time to get over it," she said as quoted on her biography.

"There was no other man in the world for me. And it's the same today."
